When shrieks of surprise, delight, and (a little) fear resounded through the Natural History Building, we knew that Cecil Smith’s tour had ended with an attack of the giant spider.

Cameron Pittman completed the Georgia Museum of Natural History internship in Vertebrate Zoology in the Fall of 2019.

Executive Director Dr. Victor Thompson and Zooarchaeology Curator Dr. Elizabeth Reitz have both been featured in this spring's edition of American Archaeology Magazine.
