Ichthyology Internship

The Donald C. Scott Ichthyology Collection contains over 1 million specimens of fishes with an emphasis on the southeastern United States fauna.  The collection started in the 1940s with the efforts of Dr. Donald Scott and his students, and includes material from the 1930s to the present.  The Ichthyology  Collection is housed off campus at the Museum Curation Annex. Dr. Bud Freeman, Curator of Zoological Collections, regularly accepts student interns each semester for BIOL, ECOL, or FNAR 4260.  (Museum of Natural History Internship).
