In Remembrance of Kim Leissner

Kim Leissner

We are saddened and shocked to report the loss of Kim Leissner on January 18, 2021.  Kim joined the museum in the summer of 1999 and was a valuable part of our community, handling financial and office management details, coordinating the Science Box program and helping with any creative task we needed for exhibits and outreach.  Kim was the steady glue we needed and appreciated day to day and will be greatly missed. Kim is survived by her husband, Daniel Leissner, her daughters, Hayley and Kegan Leissner (pictured above), her mother, Joyce Argo and her mother-in-law Barbara Leissner. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and Lord and Stephens is entrusted with arrangements. The family has suggested that donations can be made in her honor to the Friends of the Museum.
