Spring 2026 Intern, Archaeology

Major: Ecology with minors in Studio Art, Anthropology, and Wildlife Sciences

Anticipated Year of Graduation: May 2026

What collections are you working with: Archaeology

Who is your staff/faculty mentor: Dr. Amanda Thompson

What are your interests (academic & otherwise): Academic: The human-environment relationship, creepy crawlers, and  sculpture. Otherwise: Karaoke, rolling around in the dirt, dancing, and sculpture.

What are you doing with your collection during your internship: I will be refiling folders and rehousing artifacts.

What made you want to do an internship with GMNH: My mom was an art museum curator when I was a kid, and so I've always loved museum. Because I am more scientifically-minded, I'm more partial to natural history museums. This internship will allow me to peek behind the scenes of the museum and complete my anthropology minor in a more hands-on way than traditional classes.
